- Lead group of 20 mechanical engineers in development of automation systems
- Produce systems that are optimized for performance, cost, & assembly
- Participate in or lead design reviews
- Interface directly with process, system, electrical, and other engineers to define and ultimately meet all machine and subsystem performance specifications |
|
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Demonstrated skill managing projects and interfacing with technology suppliers
- Full design cycle experience, from proof of concept through prototyping, development and commercial realization
- Experience in machine design involving multiple axes, servo axes, stepper axes, pneumatic actuators, and other drive/sensing methods
- Experience using dynamic measurement tools to conduct hardware testing
- Proficiency using CAD tools
